Mobile Payments Today – 3/18/15: MasterCard announced this week that golf fans at this weekend’s Arnold Palmer Invitational will be able to pay for concessions and merchandise with the latest in mobile and card-based technologies, according to a press release. QkR! with MasterPass will enable fans to order and pay for concessions at the event directly from their Android or iOS device. The app is powered by MasterPass, a digital wallet from MasterCard that stores payment information.
