Transition into EMV from a Merchant’s Perspective In honor of ‘EMV Day #1’
Kurt Strawhecker and Mike Strawhecker sat in with a mid-sized merchant on October 1st for a presentation on EMV from the merchant’s point of sale (POS) hardware and software provider. The Omaha-based merchant is an upscale casual restaurant that processes $2 million in card volume annually. The restaurant uses one of the top three restaurant POS systems, processes with a top 10 provider, and purchased its current POS hardware/software solution in 2009.
