Mobile Payments Today – 12/29/15: Ooredoo Group, a telecommunications provider that operates in the Middle East, North Africa and Southeast Asia, has selected GoSwiff to deploy its international mobile point-of-sale system, according to a press release. The partnership will cover nine markets including Algeria, Indonesia, Iraq, Kuwait, Myanmar, Maldives, Oman, Qatar and Tunisia. It will include recruiting merchants to the platform, from large corporations to micro-merchants, according to the announcement.
