The chart above shows the Gross Processing Revenue percent for two different merchant sizes.The percent shown is the cost of accepting cards for ecommerce merchants versus non-ecommerce merchants.  The metrics show that for both merchant sizes, ecommerce merchants pay a higher price for card acceptance.
Notes:
–  eCommerce Only = merchants with volume that is all ‘card not present’
–  All Other = merchants that have volume from ‘brick and mortar’ locations only or both ‘brick and mortar’ and ‘card not present’
–  Gross Processing Revenue % = the sum of total discount, total transaction fee revenue, and total other fee revenue divided by total volume.  Includes all volume and/or transaction based fees paid for credit or debit card processing.
–  Includes all card types
