Finextra – 2/10/16: ANZ has followed in the footsteps of compatriot NAB with the launch of a new mobile payment service for Android smartphones, ANZ Mobile Pay, as the country’s biggest banks continue their boycott of iOS rival Apple Pay. ANZ Mobile Pay is available for download from the Google Play store from today. Once installed, customers just need to tap their card against the phone, then enter their date of birth and mobile number, and finally choose their preferred payment option.
