The Strawhecker Group (TSG), the largest analytics and consulting firm focused on the payments acceptance industry, is pleased to announce that David Leppek, Senior Associate, and Karl MacGregor, Affiliate Associate, have joined the firm.
With over eighteen years of industry experience, Leppek’s consulting focus at TSG will be on payments technology including ISO strategy, POS and terminal programming, gateway integrations, P2PE and other security related issues.
During the early nineteen-nineties, Leppek started a web development and eCommerce software company that launched his career in payments. In the past two decades he has worked in Sales, Engineering and Operational roles with Internet Billing (iBill), InterCept, PayByTouch, ran all Third-Party and ISO management for First National Bank of Omaha Merchant Solutions Division (FNBO/FNMS), and over the past eight years was the founder and President of Transaction Services (TRX) a full liability ISO and technology platform of his design.
MacGregor has over twenty years’ experience in the online payments industry, specializing in eCommerce strategy, product management and business development. His consulting focus at TSG will be the European Payments market, working on all aspects of merchant acceptance including eCommerce and online PSPs.
Most recently as VP of Digital Content at Worldpay, MacGregor was responsible for the largest vertical market, working closely with the world’s largest and most disruptive commerce businesses on their payment and monetization strategies. MacGregor’s previous experience includes Payments Director at Ladbrokes.com, one of the world’s largest online gaming companies, and senior positions with APACS (the UK’s Card Industry body), Envoy Services, and Barclaycard.
